It is almost impossible to get to my computer lately. It has been hi-jacked by Jake. The only time I get to it is after he gets to bed and by then, I am ready to head there myself.
Ian is almost two! He has been happy and healthy, and I can't complain. It has been great! Mark bought him a planetarium from Discovery Kids. We set it up in his room, and now we have a nighttime ritual of turning it on and him saying "up" and "touch the moon." Of course Mark lifts him so that he can touch the ceiling where the moon is projected. His vocabulary is expanding. He can say some simple sentences coherently. He is learning to count, and he can identify a few colors. When we go out to eat he will not sit in a highchair anymore. He doesn't really like the booster seats either. It all seems to be happening so quickly.
He loves watching the Wiggles and Imagination Movers. Here he is playing his keyboard along with a Wiggles song.
Just a side note, please keep in your thoughts Ian's cousin Addison. He was in a terrible accident at the playground near his home. He fell and broke his leg. This little guy is now in a cast from his ankle to his chest and down to his other knee. He will be like this until late March.
