Ian versus Tybee

This is some video we took at Tybee.

April in Savannah

We spent this past weekend in Savannah.  My cousin Clay and his new wife, Leia, exchanged vows on our wedding anniversary.  Mark and I were relying on our GPS to get us to the right location.  Unfortunately, it took us in an entirely different direction that where the church was located.  We arrived just as Leia was walking to the chapel.  Mark took mostly video, so our still pictures are limited.

Clay and I were photo bombed by Mark.

We also promised Ian we would take him to the beach.  I was not prepared for how well he loved Tybee Island.

This is after he fell face first into the ocean.

Ian Turns Four!!

Ian's fourth birthday was Sunday, March 20.  We had a nice birthday party at Monkey Joe's (jump and play place).  It was nice to have the party away from the house.  The kids had a great time playing.  Ian's birthday cake was a Backyardigans cake based on Ian's favorite Backyardigans episode, Tale of the Mighty Knights.

Wow! How did I miss January?

Well there are a ton of pictures from January that I never posted.  We had a one week snow vacation.  So far it is the only downfall of living in my neighborhood.  Steep hills, shady areas, and ice do not mix very well.  The snow fell Monday, the ice fell Tuesday, and I could not get out of the neighborhood until Friday.  Cabin fever killed me.  It did not bother the guys at all!

Ian was moved up to the Pre-3 room.  This is the room right before the Pre-K room.  Yes, Pre-K.  During snow week, I was waiting on his birth certificate to arrive.  Yes, I am a horrible mom.  I never ordered his birth certificate from Fulton County.  It was only when I needed to register him for Pre-K that I ordered it.  So I now have the title to my son!  We own him outright!  Woohoo!

5 inches - Doesn't seem like much, but it is!

Lovin' on my boy

He wanted to clear the driveway himself.
.
I think we may have been breaking some child labor laws here.

We do not own a flat blade shovel.  So Mark developed this contraption to clear the driveway.

The updated version

Ian worked hard that day helping Daddy.

He worked hard!

By Thursday I was bored, so I baked.
