We ended the year with a nice visit with Grandma and the family for Christmas and a gathering of friends on New Year's Eve. Ian is growing wildly at this point. Even his pediatrician is amazed at his height in just a year. We are trying to watch his weight, not to the point of dieting, but we are trying to make sure he makes good choices with snacks and such. He loves fruits and veggies, but he will not eat much along the lines of meat.
Here are the latest in pictures.
Ian is taking Tae Kwon Do (I may have spelled that incorrectly). He is having issues with wearing his uniform. Since I was home with him for the last few weeks, I was able to go and observe the class. I convinced him to wear the top. It was a no-go on the pants and belt.
Our first snow of the season started on December 25. It was just enough to give us a nice white coating.

Daddy was not feeling well enough to go outside with us. So Ian threw snowballs at him behind the window. |
 |
He just threw himself down and started making snow angels. |
On Christmas Eve, we were with Grandma and the Mingledorffs.

On Christmas Eve, we came back to Atlanta, not knowing when the snow was going to start and to wake up in our own house for presents! Here is our Christmas morning.

He had such a great time opening presents. |
 |
Mark got him a set of walkie talkies. It is fun to hear them talk to each other. Of course Ian does quite have the whole button pressing mastered, yet. |

After the excitement! |
